Guess what?  Despite the cold temperatures, Spring Break is really right around the corner (along with midterms, fall registration, and more!). 

Early in February you received a general advising e-mail notifying you that now is the time to begin scheduling your academic advising appointment to discuss Fall Semester 2019 scheduling.  It is also a good time to think through your summer plans, particularly if you are interested in taking summer classes.  So if you have yet to schedule this advising appointment, this is your friendly reminder that I would love to have you come in sometime within the next few months to:

• -          Review your major and discuss class options for the upcoming semester (fall and/or summer)
• -          Discuss your four-year plan and DegreeWorks degree audit
• -          Touch base about your current classes and success strategies for establishing a good GPA
• -          Talk through any “extra” requirements for your degree that you may not be aware of
• -          Update your record with any AP/ACP/IB/dual credit classes that are still needing to be transferred

Fall course registration begins in early April, and summer registration is at the end of March.  You can begin scheduling advising appointments anytime through AdvisorTrac in myBSU (my.bsu.edu) located under the "Additional Tools" heading.
